Privacy Policy
Last updated: 3 July 2026
Sloppit ("we", "us") runs the website at sloppit.net. Sloppit is a pre-launch project, and the only personal data we handle right now is what you give us when you join the waitlist. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the rights you have over it — in plain English.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist, we store:
- your email address;
- whether you told us you're a player or a creator;
- the approximate country your visit came from (provided by our host, Cloudflare).
We don't ask for your name, and the site uses no tracking or advertising cookies.
Why we collect it
- to email you about the launch and our first game jam;
- to understand where interest in Sloppit is coming from.
That's all. We won't email you about anything else, and we will never sell or rent your data.
Legal basis
We process your email on the basis of your consent, which you give by submitting the waitlist form. You can withdraw it at any time (see "Your rights").
Where your data is stored
Your signup is stored in a database hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., which also serves this website. Cloudflare acts as our data processor; no one else has access to your details.
How long we keep it
We keep your email until Sloppit launches — at which point we'll ask you to create an account or confirm you still want updates — or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first.
Your rights
At any time you can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or withdraw your consent and unsubscribe. Just email hello@sloppit.net and we'll take care of it promptly — within 30 days at the latest.
Changes
This is a pre-launch policy covering the waitlist only. When Sloppit fully launches, we'll publish an updated policy covering accounts, game uploads, and any analytics or advertising, and we'll let waitlist members know.
